I'm working as fast as I can! I'm fabbing the piping, which is my royal weakness.

I'd be interested in the cruise, but I'm sure I'll be working on the car into the wee hours of the morning, same as any other event...

They let you camp Friday night?

If we hit 1000 rsvp's we'll give out 5 free entries for this, and more for every 100 over that. There is no reason not to attend. Swimsuit comp, thousands in prizes, dare I say close to 10k, maybe more in giveaways! Drag, drift, autox, what more is there?

I mean I am loading up a truck with just prizes. Come out, have a blast, race, spectate, doesn't matter, you will have a blast!

I was iffy about putting a thousand miles on the vette but I think I'm going to bring it up for this now, at least I can do some AutoX and try out the road course.

Edit: Registered for the road course! Now to decide if I bring the slicks up with me. MAP guys, do you know of anyone from Iowa who is going?

I'll join the cruise to head up there so long as I'm packed and the car's ready by then, no reason not to.

Yep, road course and AutoX do not have the restrictions that drag racing does.
If they did let me drag race the vette I'd for sure bring up two slicks with me in the car, but I can't fit all four obviously.

I've got mine in the back (on a 1g) with no cut-off and they didn't say anything. But then again they never asked to see in the trunk. unless your car looks like it's going to trap 150, I doubt they will say anything.

Awesome! Long drive for sure. I saw you took the advice and asked over on the iowa board.

I don't know of many coming up from iowa but I know there are some. I'm sure you'll get a response over there.
