Kettering University, it usd to be called General Motors Institute (GMI).

To be honest, I havent really looked much, except for through listings of previous KU students jobs

we have a very large arms firm here that goes by the name of Alliant Techsystems. they have gotten huge in the last 6 years. http://www.atk.com/ <---their site

another super giant ass engineering firm is 3M of course, they hire every kind of engineer imaginable!

Boston Scientific is another one (monster medical device company)

i'm interested in what classes you have to take at your school. do you have to take the 3 years of calc/diff eq and 2 years of physics and all that other horrible shit too? i'm in my 3rd year of ME schooling as well, just curious.

That's where I work. Definatly look into them. They have several offices and locations here in the cities and in 22 other states as well. They have an EXCELLENT student work study program and if by any reason you can get an actual job with them, they also love degrees and as long as it's going to help you help the company they pay 100%. Starting my next class, all of my shit will be paid for.
