Stock Temp gauge not working??

You HAVE checked to make sure the connection is good at the sensor itself, right? Do a visual check at the thermostat housing, or whatever, and then just start the electrical tests. Look for an open/short between the ECU and the sensor. I can't imagine the gauge itself is broken, it is most likely the signal to it.
