Yeah, people would beg you to give them money, but when you win something like that, you have to take a hard line. Basically, put it all in a CD for at least a year, just pay the taxes on the winnings, then sit around and think about what you want to spend it on the most, because buying crap immediately is a mistake.
edit: and I just read most of the story. Looks like he was a
REAL winner to begin with.
