I would run your talon, just need 30min at Swiftys house to barrow "his" shep tranny, lol. When the Fiero is done you can run the guy that has the 500ci caddy engine in his Fiero and used to be down town all the time. I raced him with my 423fwhp (dynojet pump gas) in the Galant back in the day, it was kind of a close race.

Curb weight on a regular IX GSR is 3,274 lbs; add ~40 lbs. for the SSL package, subtract ~18 lbs. for the SE edition. The RS is about 45 lbs. lighter than the GSR and the MR is about 11 lbs. heavier. VIII's are about 10 lbs. lighter than comparable IX's.

It must be the 6-speed transmission because the wheels alone shave off another 12 lbs. (16 on the VIII's), and I'm pretty sure the Blisteins weigh in lighter than the KYB shocks.
